Born into a family of entrepreneurs, Norbert Philipp’s career began as a merchant with the opportunity to experience various trade and industry segments from the bottom up. Initially, after earning a degree in business administration, a specialization in sales management was pursued. Early on, his distinct knowledge in the electrical equipment industry paired with his exceptional talent in sales and personnel management lead him to his first position as Chief Executive Officer of an electrical wholesale company doing business all across Germany. 

After 15 years in the electronics sector, he was drawn to the domain of plumbing, heating and air-conditioning. Then, in 2004, after joining the renewable energy trade, he emerged as one of the innovators who contributed significantly to the leadership of Germany’s renewable energy companies. First, by running the business of the international, mid-sized corporation Pro Solar Group operating in the upper double-digit million-euro turnover range.

Subsequently, at the end of 2007, Norbert Philipp moved into the leadership ranks of a mid-sized, family holding. As Co-founder of the international Mage Solar AG,

and in his position as CEO, he was responsible for the entire management of this global stock corporation; ultimately generating at a turnover in the triple-digit million-euro range on five continents. After leaving Mage Solar AG he agreed to take on the restructuring of the start-up SorTech AG as its Chief Executive Officer, an internationally recognized, award-winning company renowned for its trailblazing technologies in the air-conditioning and energy terrain. Shortly thereafter, following the call to make his expertise more widely available to a broader range of clients, the decision was made to found the philipp & associates management and personnel consultancy.
